Case Study
CYCSA 60m Long Breakwater Extension
The Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia (CYCSA) is located in North Haven and consists of a number of marina berths. The marina is protected by three existing breakwater structures, however, a number of the larger marina berths are still exposed to south-westerly seas.
The CYCSA decided to extend the existing inner break-water to eliminate the exposure of all berths within the marina from south-westerly seas.
Maritime Constructions was awarded the contract to construct a 60m extension to the existing inner breakwater, as well as supply and install additional navigation aids; in response to the navigation channel being altered due to the new breakwater extension
